FIRERESIST F004: colorless intumescent varnish
Intumescent wood protection consists in applying a chemical primer by spraying or dipping, which reacts to the heat caused by fire. When exposed to the flames of a fire, the intumescent coating swells to form a microporous foam called “meringue”. Once the intumescent solution has been applied, it helps prevent the risk of fire by delaying wood combustion and modifying its reaction to fire.
FIRERESIST F004 is a colorless intumescent varnish that provides a high level of fire protection for wood and its derivatives, in accordance with standard NF EN 13501-1.
